Brushes electromotors  MEGA are are produced in two dimensions  of diametr :

MEGA MINI, MIKRO, SHORT , MEGA MINI “L”      f   36 mm

MEGA S, SP, BG, MIDI, MEGA  “L”                         f   47 mm

 

First serie of brushless electromotors that we introduce is with conformity dimension of electromotors MEGA mini. Efficiency of theese sixpoles motors MEGA AC.22/., is up to 86%. Theese  motors are produced in three dimensions (lenghs) and are determined especially for  direct drive of propeller aswell with gearbox and aswell ducted fan.

 

Now we are producing  aswell  new motor with diametr 28 mm : MEGA ACn 16/15/..

MOTORS  OF  MEGA "mini"  LINE

for competition models. These motors are suitable for models of aeroplanes with the weight up to 1,7 kg.

MEGA mini 7  motor intended for sports and competition flying with 7 cells.

MEGA mini 6  motor intended for sports and competition flying with 6 cells.

The recommended batery 7x SANYO, propeller 9x6,5", current  consumption cca. 50A, revolutions cca 10000 rpm    

 

ELEKTRO-MOTOR MEGA MINI 7E

MEGA mini 7E: the engine suitable for sports flying with 7 cells models. If using propeller 9x6,5" current consumption is 35A, revolutions 9000 rpm.

 

The efficient electro-motor of MEGA-MINI LINE is assigned for sports flying with 6 up to 10-cell battery. It is suitable for models of wingspan about 2,5m, weight up to 2 kg. The motor is intended for direct drive (without any gear) and is able to switch without any problems,( using the switch is possible). Compared with ferritic motors of the same weight it achieves multiple performance and better efficiency in a very wide range of loading (approximately from 8 up to 35A). The shaft (diametr 5 mm) is hardened.

The motor doesn´t  need any other maintenance except for keeping it clean. Switches and regulators with electro-dynamic brake which short-circuits electro-motor after feeding batteries having been switched away are recommended when using  folding propeller. During installation in the model  consider the possibility of  cooling the engine.

8-cell battery: AERONAUT 8x6 (current 30A,revolutions 10000rpm - suitable for smaller acrobatic models, wingspan about from 1 - 1,3m  e.g.the model RUMFAL - producer JR Brno)  FALCO 10x5,5

10-cell batery: AERONAUT (8x6"),

 

 

MEGA mini 10: for 10 cells models of wingspan up to 2,4m. The recommended propeller is 11x6,5"current consumption is 29A, revolutions 8500 rpm.

 

MOTORS  OF  MEGA "MIDI"  LINE

 

The engines with a fairly wide diameter of anchor enable to use propellers with the diameter roughly 13" - 330 mm wide.

 

MEGA MIDI 7 - the engine for competition models of wingspan  from 1,6m up to about 2,9 m with 7 Cells.  When using the propeller (10x7) revolutions are over 9000/min, current consumption is 50 A. When using the propeller (13x8) revolutions are 8000 and current  comsumption is 65A.

 

From experience gathered during several seasons while using  MEGA engines for competition models, we can recommend you  the MEGA MINI engines assigned for lighter models in tender wind and the MEGA MIDI engines for faster or bigger models.

 

MOTORS  OF  MEGA  "S"  LINE

This group of engines covers the widest range of number  of cells - from 6 cells  (MEGA S3) up to 30 cells (MEGA S 11).

The typical usage of MEGA "S" motors:

 

MEGA S3 - 7-cells models with space over 24 dm2 (propeller roughly 13x8"); for 10-cells battery the propeller (11x6") is suitable.

MEGA S4 - Competition models with 10 cells (12x8"); models  for pastime  flying with 8 up to 10 cells.

MEGA S5 - Pastime models with 10 cells (13x8", revolutions 7800rpm, current consumption 32 A) or with 12 cells (12x7", 9300 rpm., 36A).

MEGA S7 - tested for direct drive (without any gear) of big models of weight up to about 5 kg (wingspan 3-5 m), 14-cells battery (propeller 12,5x6,5";current about 35A - the speed button available).When using 16-cells batteries then the engine is suitable for acrobatic models with wing spread of 2m.

 

MEGA S9 - for models up to about 6,5 kg of weight. For 20-cells battery the propeller 13x7" is recommended, current consumption is about 28 A.

MEGA L:

The engines for big models (8kg, wingspan 6 m) or even for smaller models which are required to climb steeply or even vertically.

 

MEGA FA1 10-SP:

The engine for competition models according to rules of category F5B/10 (10 cells). The recommended propeller is 11-12,5x8".

The set of brushless electromotors MEGA AC.. is based on the same size, parameters, as brushes electromotors  MEGA.

Efficiency of these sixpoles motors MEGA AC.22/., is up to 86%. These  motors are produced in three dimensions (lenghs) and are determined especially for  direct drive of propeller (without gearbox, but the gearbox may be used and aswell  brushless electromotors MEGA AC  may be used for ducted fan.  The shortest version of motor MEGA AC 22/10/.. weights  100g, MEGA AC 22/20/.. weights 160g, and the longest MEGA AC 22/30/..weights 224g. 

 

Kevlar is used for bandaging of all armatures, containing a shaft put on two ballbearings.
